Setup of Windows 2000 with a Ericsson, Samsung or COM21 cable modem.

Step 1

• Click on the right button of your mouse on "My Network Places" and select "Properties" with the left button.

Step 2

• In the window "Network and Dial-up Connections", click on the right button of your mouse on "Local Area Network Connection". With the left button of your mouse, select "Properties".

Step 3

• In the window "Local Area Connection Properties", select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and click on "Properties" button.

Step 4

• In the window "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties", select "Obtain an IP address automatically".

• Select "Obtain DNS server address automatically" and click on "OK" button.

Step 5

• In the window "Local Area Network Properties", click on "OK" and restart your computer.
