Q: How do I program my
equipment so that my digital receiver and television both turn on and off at the same
time using the same remote control?
A: Press Menu on the digital remote control. Access the Cable Box Setup screen. Access the AC Outlet, it should read Switched. If it reads Unswitched, you need to move the arrow to the right and select Switched (Note: This applies only if the TV is plugged into the rear panel of the receiver). Now when you choose power on or off, both pieces of equipment should turn on and off together. |
