A: Super Écran sur Demande is a new service from Super Écran that allows you to view over 70 movies and series when you want, as often as you want, all with the pause/rewind/fast-forward capabilities you get from your VCR or DVD player. Super Écran sur Demande is included with your subscription to Super Écran on Cogeco Digital Cable.

A: Super Écran sur Demande is free with your Super Écran subscription. If you already are a Super Écran subscriber you can enjoy Super Écran sur Demande right now. Just go to channel 304, pick a movie or program you want to watch, press play and Enjoy!

Q:
Do I need a special setup or equipment in order to access Super Écran sur Demande ?

A: In order to receive Super Écran sur Demande, along with your Super Écran subscription, you will need a digital cable receiver and it is crucial that the digital cable receiver is the first piece of equipment hooked up to your cable. If any other piece of equipment (VCR, gaming console etc.) is hooked up to your cable before the digital cable receiver you will not be able to access. Q:
I stopped the video part way through the movie – will I have to start from the beginning again?

A: Within 24 hours of ordering the movie you will be able to resume from where you left off by simply choosing the title (you will notice it has a check mark beside it to signify that it has been viewed), pressing ‘OK' on your digital cable receiver remote control, and choosing the ‘Resume' option. After 24 hours simply select the title and Fast Forward to where you left off.

Will I be able to FF and Rew the same as with Video on Demand?

A: Absolutely! One of the many benefits of Super Écran sur Demande is being able to use VOD functionality (FF, Rew, Pause etc.) on your Super Écran programming.

Q:
I am unable to access Super Écran sur Demande – what's wrong?

A: The following issues may cause you to be unable to access Super Écran sur Demande. Please check the following items and if any of them apply follow the instructions to enable your access to The Movie Network OnDemand:

1. If you are not a Super Écran subscriber you will not be able to access The Movie Network OnDemand. To subscribe to The Movie Network OnDemand, just order online or call 1-866-511-6555.

2. If you have any equipment (VCR, Gaming Console etc.) hooked up to your cable outlet before your digital cable receiver then you will not be able to access Super Écran sur Demande. Please visit our walkthrough section for more information and hookup diagrams.

3. A few areas do not have Super Écran sur Demande available. You can check our service availability tool to see if Super Écran sur Demande is available in your area.

4. If you have requested that we disable VOD from your digital cable receiver you will not be able to access Super Écran sur Demande. Please call 1-866-511-6555 if you wish to have VOD re-activated.

5. It is possible that Super Écran sur Demande may on the rare occasion be unavailable due to heavy customer usage during peak periods. If this is the case you will receive the following message ‘Server Unavailable‘. Try again in a few minutes and you should be able to access the service. If this continues for a prolonged period of time (over the course of one or two days) please call 1-866-511-6555 to notify us.

Q:
How can I tell when a movie is going to be removed?/I saw a movie I wanted to watch last week but now its gone. What happened and can I get it back?

A: New movies and series installments are added weekly. This also means that movies and series installments are removed weekly. You can check which selections are being shown for the last week by checking the ‘Last Chance' category. If you have missed it on Super Écran sur Demande, be sure to check the program listings in the monthly Feature Magazine for M, MFun, MEscape, MExcess or MFest – it may be available there.

How do I access Super Écran sur Demande?

A: Accessing and using Super Écran sur Demande is easy! Just go to channel 208 (right after Mpix). Pick the video you want to watch, Press play and Enjoy!

Some of the movies and shows in the listing appear with a check mark next to the title. What does this mean?

A: A check mark indicates any videos that have been selected for viewing within the last 24 hours. To resume playing where you left off, just select the video you want to watch and choose ‘Resume'.

Q:
I can't order Super Écran sur Demande movies. What should I do?

A: In order to access Super Écran sur Demande service it is necessary that your digital cable receiver be connected properly to your television. The digital cable receiver MUST ALWAYS be connected to the cable outlet DIRECTLY. There should be no other equipment connected between the digital cable receiver and the cable outlet.

The following diagram illustrates the proper configuration for your digital cable receiver with your equipment:

It is also important to ensure that if your digital cable receiver has a 2” cable loop on the back (RF Jumper), that it is securely connected between the two ports. If you are not sure that this cable is connected firmly, switch the ends and reconnect again.

Q:
There is programming on Super Écran sur Demande that is inappropriate for my children. How can I block this?

A: With the introduction of Super Écran sur Demande, a wide selection of programming is available 24 hours a day. You will be pleased to note that any previously set Ratings Locks will apply to Super Écran sur Demande content. Should you wish to review or adjust your Parental Lock settings, simply press MENU on your digital cable receiver Remote Control, select LOCKS, enter (or create) your 4-digit code and you can set locks according to your preference.
