A:Spyware, also called Adware or Data Miners, generally installs itself silently during the installation of other software such as a free media player. During that process the EULA (End User Licence Agreement which is often long, full of legal language and prone to be skipped by users) contains specific terms allowing the silent (stealth) installation of the spyware at the same time as the original software is being installed.
