Installer
Incumbent installs equipment necessary to link our customers' receiving equipment to the distribution network. He/she makes sure equipment is functioning properly, disconnects, reconnects, relocates or recovers equipment installed at our customers. He/she provides required explanations, and sells/installs any additional service to ensure our customers' needs are fully met.
Requirements:
- College Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications option
Broadcast Operator
Incumbent is responsible for on-lining television productions or others on local origin channels. He/she designs and writes messages for the electronic billboard and prepares cassettes for broadcasting. He/she is also responsible for doing preventive maintenance work on broadcasting equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Experience as cameraman or editor
Attendant, Customer Care Centre
Incumbent is responsible for taking calls from our current and potential customers, and for explaining and selling products and services offered so as to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring our customers' needs are optimally met. He/she processes computer data and provides all necessary information to ensure our customers' complete satisfaction.
Requirements:
- College Degree in Data Processing or Office Automation, or a related discipline
- Very good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
Programmer
Incumbent answers system users' requests, makes corrections in existing applications, and prepares various files and reports required by users.
Requirements:
- College Degree in Data Processing
- Knowledge of RPG/400 and CL/400 languages
- 2 years of experience as programmer
Supervisor, Customer Service (CS) and Technical Support (TS)
Incumbent ensures Call Centre runs smoothly and manages human resources. He/she supervises the team of representatives and motivates them to achieve set objectives. He/she analyzes the volume of calls, provides employees with the coaching they require, coordinates the circulation of information, and supports employees in the performance of their work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Human Resources
- Very good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
Multimedia Technician
Incumbent supports our customers in matters of Internet navigation and their use of Cogeco-supported software. He/she answers customers phone calls dealing with operating system configuration, computer equipment, network card, modem, network, or any related problems.
Requirements:
- College Degree in Data Processing
- Very good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
Production Technician
Incumbent performs various production tasks leading to the broadcast of contents on the public access channel. He/she is responsible for producing, analyzing, carrying out mandated reporting/interview assignments which may be done inside the studio, at the broadcast centre or outside the studio, and broadcasting.
Requirements:
- College Degree in Media Arts and Technologies, television or audio-visual technique option
